So glad you found me!

I am Juliane Zelger, Sexologist MA and this is my story

I've always been curious about sexuality. I loved talking about it, asking questions, and understanding more about it. So I decided to study Sexology and eventually started my own business, working with women and couples through therapy and consultations.

And throughout that work, I started noticing something again and again: how disconnected so many people, and especially women, are from their bodies.

We can talk about something. We can understand where it comes from, why we react the way we do, and what we could do differently. And I believe that understanding can be really valuable. But I've also learned that understanding something doesn't necessarily create a big change.

Something else has to happen.

That's what made me want to go deeper into somatic work and breathwork. I started taking courses, but just as importantly, I started exploring these practices in my own body and through my own experience.

And through that, I discovered what it actually means to build capacity in the body - capacity for change, for challenge, for emotions, for pleasure, and especially for aliveness.

WORK WITH ME

That changed the way I work.

Today, I bring sexuality, somatic work, breath, movement and emotional awareness together because I don't see them as separate things.

They are all different ways of coming back to yourself, through your body.

You are not here to become a different woman.

You are here to become more deeply connected to the woman you already are.

Working method

The basis of my sex counseling work is the sexological model Sexocorporel , which was developed by Prof. Jean-Yves Desjardins at the Département de Séxologie de l'Université du Québec in Montréal.

This approach to sexual health is based on the individual abilities of the clients. Specific learning steps promote sexual learning and enable active shaping of sexuality. Various components of sexuality are examined and interconnected. The counseling includes discussions, body awareness exercises, and perception exercises.

What makes Sexocorporel sexual counseling unique is its holistic view of body and mind, recognizing that sexual learning occurs through the body. This means that sexual problems are discussed, but not simply rehashed. Instead, the focus is on a much deeper understanding of how individuals engage in sexuality, what the body does, and how this impacts feelings and thoughts.

I work with the dimensions of movement, rhythm, tone (tension/relaxation), and space. Through guided exercises and homework, ingrained patterns that have led to sexual problems are broken down and relearned. This is achieved through heightened perception and sensitivity during the exercises.

The method is "hands-off," meaning that clients are not physically touched.
